Dear Ash
Since I've had no interactions with puppies living in my apartment, I can only suggest that should said puppy come to live with you, you gently ease him/her out of the way for food and laps. No roughness, humans are very sensitive with smaller canines and no sense in getting yourself into trouble. The puppy will be fun to play with, and you can boss him/her around.
If things get to be too much, my home is always open!

Awww baby puppies :)
Puppies! Really? H and L are very brave! Energetic doggies all around...
ahh puppies...dangerous things!
Coco is having an extended holiday at my mums, a lady wot walks a lot, digs her allotment a lot and lives in a little cotswold village, lots of doggy friends etc. We didnt think life in a top floor nasty little flat in the middle of a city at all right for one of such elegance as Coco. She is withing visiting distance and I do have visiting rights! Am going tomrrow. You were right to be concerned but I think she is ok...I am more worried about me!
